My Story (ePub)

My name is Leslie Moorhead, the author of this book, entitled, "My Story: A Christian Tale." This is the first book I have written. I hope this doesn't discourage you from buying my book, just because it is my first book. If you decide to buy it, I hope you will be enlightened to hear the story of a Christian you may never have heard before in your reading of books prior to mine. Everything I have written is true to my knowledge and is intended to tell the story of a man who has been through quite a lot of rejection and persecution because of my faith in Jesus Christ. It is not intended to, nor do I pretend to in any way, want to convey the message that I am God or am better qualified than other Christians to tell a story of their account as Christians. On the contrary, their stories of their Christian lives are also unique to them, as is my story unique in the world of service to our King, the Lord Jesus Christ. I have lived most of my life in Houston, Texas, a city of some four million souls. I have not attempted to write a book before this one came to my imagination as not only a duty but to fulfill the requests of my mother and my younger brother, Sidney, to write a biography of my life. And now, I have fulfilled their request. My mother and my brother are both now deceased and did not get to see the end of their request being fulfilled, but I know they lived with the hope that I would write and finish an autobiography someday in the near future. I hope you buy "My Story" and enjoy reading it. May God bless you and your household. It was for you I wrote my autobiography.
