Keith Lowe is the author of Inferno: the Devastation of Hamburg and Savage Continent: Europe in the Aftermath of World War II, which won the 2013 PEN/Hessell-Tiltman Prize for History. He published The Fear and the Freedom in 2017 and Prisoners of History in 2020. His books have been translated into twenty languages.
