Autoren-Porträt von Ted C. Ottinger
Ted Ottinger is best known to thousands of students in California and Seattle as the fun teacher. His curriculum for English literature and writing has helped form the minds of creative students. This romance parody will delight the reader with wit and wisdom.Ted Ottinger has a most unique history. He grew up on a wheat farm and cattle ranch in Okla.
His first career was in journalism. He edited the Guymond Daily Herald in the panhandle of Okla.
Then he became a sp. needs teacher. Along the way he became an actor and appeared in many tv and print ads and a couple of appearances on tv crime shows.
Always a poet he began to write mostly country and western lyrics later in life. Two of his lyrics were produced; one a song, "One Day Soon" about a hard working man and his promises to his daughter. Another humorous song - Born to Fail told the sad story of a man who could never seem to get it together.
Teds lyrics reflect his country upbringing and his identification with people and their struggles.
Both of these interests are brought the focus with his two published novellas: Nein, Juan, Juan" and Bad Momma.
Ted lives with his wife in Taylorsville, UT.
