Heather Slaughter is a mother of five young children who's daily craziness of living a full life inspired her to write this Catholic children's book, Nun on the Run. Heather graduated from Clemson University with a mechanical engineering degree, married her high school sweetheart, works fulltime at a manufacturing plant, volunteers at church and school functions as much as possible, and in her 'downtime' enjoys crafting, home improvement projects, and farming. Even though Heather had never entertained the thought of becoming an author before, a friend had encouraged her to make something of the idea. In taking the leap of faith and writing this children's book, Heather hopes to encourage others who have aspirations to share their blessings through their own God given talents.
