“This is essentially an attempt at a handbook of pediatric surgery with very brief, outline format presentations of the standard, known and proven, information about the basic problems that require surgery in children. … a book to support the effort of emergency personnel, nurses, and physicians with less familiarity with children and their special surgical considerations. … it is a pleasant addition to anyone’s library of pediatric surgery books.” (Robert M. Arensman, Doody’s Book Reviews, August, 2014)
