The work is attributed to the accomplishments of the Barker family's legacy. "Patricia Ann Scott Barner" and "Brenda" was written in 2013 for his two sisters who passed that year. "A PIECE OF ME" was written in tribute to his mother Irene Delores Blackston who also passed in 2013.
