For more than 40 years Tim O'Dwyer has practised as a solicitor in Queensland Australia. He is also a Justice of the Peace and a Notary Public. Nationally recognised as a 'real estate watchdog' and consumer advocate, he often appears on programs such as Today Tonight and A Current Affair, and has been a regular columnist for Australian Property Investor magazine.His legal articles have been published in newspapers and magazines across Australia. Tim has gained a reputation as a 'contract killer' through his many and varied 'rescues' of real estate consumers, and also as 'the prince of real estate darkness' following several wins for clients facing agents' commission claims. He has lectured on Justices of the Peace, Welfare, Commercial and Real Estate Law at TAFE colleges, Queensland Institute of Technology and the
University of Queensland, and contributed to a secondary schools Legal Studies text book.
