This is an evocation of teen rebellion, discontent and decisions, amidst grief, love and longing. It takes the reader from the dark and difficult - issues faced in today's world as well as the sixties, to a lighter and brighter stage. An initiation of sorts. A coming of age.

Pamela Mariko grew up near UK's bleak moors, where Red Moon: secrets of a sixties schoolgirl, is initially set. A writer of women's fiction, Pamela semi finalled in an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Contest with the above book, which also won an Olvar Woods Fellowship Award and a Varuna Longlines.
