Charlene Smith is a South African-born writer, communications consultant and television documentary maker who lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. She is the author of 14 books, including the best-selling Mandela: In Celebration of a Great Life, published by Random House Struik. She has won awards for her writing and television documentaries in South Africa, Canada, Italy, the United Kingdom and the USA.
