Dr Muir Gray is one of Britain's most respected medical figures who was knighted for his work with the NHS, including setting up all the national screening programmes. His main focus has been on the prevention of disease, particularly in older people. Muir is Director of the Optimal Ageing Programme at the University of Oxford and is leading the Live Longer Better national programme. He is the author of Sod Sitting, Get Moving; Sod Sixty! and Sod Seventy!.
