A former chemistry graduate and senior manager within industry, I spent my early years in South Wales. University beckoned and in the absence of any better ideas, I went first into teaching - not my best decision.Industry was a much better fit, so I moved around the UK, ending up in an American multi-national - a highly pressured job.
Retraining as a psychotherapist was a better decision and it was that which allowed me to express my creative side - both in painting and poetry.
Now I am retired and happily married - probably my best decisions of all.
