Brought up in the wide-open spaces of Wyoming, Susan finds the apartment lifestyle foisted on her and her husband by living near New York's Central Park irksome. The constant noise and bustle of city life just isn't for her. Pete, fifteen years older, is a New Yorker born and bred, so it's natural for him, and he just can't see the problems she's having adjusting.
After six months of unrelenting stress, they finally get the chance of a break, and they book a cabin up in the hills above Lake Champlain, about two hours' drive from the city. The first day is perfect, only for Pete to be called back to the office for an emergency, leaving Susan sulking there alone till the weekend.
After one day of solitude, Susan notices the three guys in the next cabin are taking quite an interest. When they invite her over for an evening drink, she doesn't see any harm in accepting.
