Beatrix Nagy lives near the Upper Austrian Lake District and discovered the joy of writing in 2006. Since then she has worked as an author and illustrator of humorous poems and stories directly taken from daily life, for adults. She writes imaginative pictured books for children and the young at heart. For this she was honored with many awards from the International Children's Book Competition "Auf Schmetterlings- und Schwanenflügeln" (On Butterfly's and Swan's Wings 2010).
