Zinovia was born on Ithos, a planet named for the corporation who runs it and mercilessly sacrifices its inhabitants to the giant spiders who call it home. She's an experiment, an Ithoclait, who was given genetic traits to survive this specific hell. She was also given a board; a way to ride the dangerous slopes of the spider dens and defend herself from the perils all around her. When she and her close friends discover that the Ithos Corporation plans to abandon the planet and most of the people on it, boarding might be the only thing that can give them a chance.

She studied graphic design at the University of Houston Clear Lake, has a passion for book cover art, and thinks wearing hair accessories and saving money are legitimate hobbies.
