Sharada M. Subrahmanyam lives among her books. Inspired by the books that she has read by her favourite authors, like Tamora Pierce, Rick Riordan, Christopher Paolini, and Allison Croggon, she wanted to create a world of her own. Her first novel, "The Elementals: The Beginning and the End," is an ambitious foray into the world of novel writing. This novel was written when she was thirteen years old.She lives in Chennai with her parents. She enjoys telling stories to young and old. She believes that courses of civilizations can be influenced by stories. Societies that are occupied in stories are too occupied that there is no place for terror, she argues. Her fascination of human nature comes out as characters in her books
