The body of H.D. Wards was never found, but this journal was uncovered in the forest in the year 2020 by a visiting teenager. The words that follow stirred a viral frenzy worldwide at H.D.'s mention of a creature he called "The Flayed One." This flesh destroying monster had been the thing of legends for locals, but H.D.'s horrifying account details strange nightly visits, terrifying flesh maladies, and a chilling fight for survival. Monster hunters worldwide were taken with his eerie details and with the strange occurrences reported by locals that seem to support his stories.
