She was born in Saint Andrew, Jamaica. She enjoyed the rich heritage; and lived in Jamaica until she came to the USA, at the age of nineteen years old.
Although she lives in the USA, her love and memories of the Jamaican culture stayed with her. It encouraged and motivated her to write about;The Mighty Jamaicans, and to incorporate the Jamaican culture.
When she is not working as a nurse or not reading or writing books. She enjoys travelling, watching TV, and hanging out with her children and her husband.
