Glenn is a blacksmith who lives with his dog in the mountains near the village of Arrochar. One day Glenn finds a young woman, lying unconscious under the rock pinnacle near his hut. Glenn recognizes Beitris Robertson, the girl he once loved but left without any explanation because of a dark secret. The blacksmith takes Beitris to his hut and helps the girl to wake up. Two recognize each other and immediately begin conversation as if nothing happened between them.
Next day Glenn decides to visit her and sees Beitris talking with another man. After a conversation in his hut, Glenn understands that this is Beitris little brother Walter. Old feelings suddenly come back. Memories about their old relationship appear and their love gets back even more powerful than before. Love that never stopped but it was just waiting to be awaked again.
Everything looks fine until a member of a secret order tries to kill Beitris' Brother Walter but doesn't succeed.
