He published two volumes of poetry that earned him the position of a poet. The Snowflake, and Other Poems, appeared in 1896 and was his third volume. It contains some of his best-known verses, such as The Snowflake, To Scotland, Alladin's Lamp, etc. Arthur Weir used a charming style of writing in his poems, and they were always delightful and easy to follow. He preferred to be realistic and simple, rather than odd, dramatic, and complex.
