Costa Rica is at odds in the opening scene, and one of the Ruiz generals, Darien decides he wants the Ruiz fortune all to himself. He is intercepted by an un-identified assassin who kills him and takes control of the money and important paper work that Darien had stolen. The masked figure reveals herself to be a woman named Najah who helps the youngest member of the Ruiz clan who was being raped in the first scene immediately after the murder of Darien.
The masked figure burns the house down after retrieving the stolen money and papers and takes the young girl to a safe place. Years later Najah meets Tajon when she goes to New York to enroll in college and start her own boutique business. Najah did not know Tajon happens to be the boss of a rival drug cartel that was based in New York City. The two fall in love without either of them knowing who the other really was.
Within The Organization dealings there was money stolen and disagreements within the ranks of the cartel. When an attempt on Najahs and Sinceres life things began to heat up very quickly to the point where Black Ty and Lucifer comes out of retirement. Najah and Monet go to visit her grandparents and her grandfather tells her that Black Ty may have also had something to do with her parents death. Najah does not deal with the situation very well, especially when she finds out she is pregnant with Tajons child.

Autoren-Porträt von Latifa Ayyubi
Urban Fiction Author also known as street lit, is a literary genre set, as the name implies, in a city landscape; however, the genre is as much defined by the socio-economic realities and culture of its characters as the urban setting. The tone for my urban fiction is usually life experience novels, focusing on the underside of city living. Profanity, sex, and violence are usually explicit, with Latifa Ayyubi not shying away from or watering-down the material Upcoming books: The Take Down, The Take Down II, The Aftermath, Karma Comes In All Flavors, Secrets In Our House and many more in this genre
The author is a mother that loves skating, swimming and outdoor sports and traveling, but writing is her first passion. Latifa also loves to hear back from fans at writerayyubi4ver@gmail.
