Produktinformationen zu „Together (ePub)“
The story of two women who, together, became the presidents of a software development multinational corporation.
Together,
They left behind absolute truths,
They found a way to further promote the common good,
They learned how to bring conflict to the table,
They increased revenues by 51% in their first year at CEOs,
They turned their company into one of the best places for women to work in Brazil,
They achieved the status of "The Most Beloved Company in Brazil," according to Love Mondays.
People say women have great people skills, while men are great with numbers. People say those in a leadership position must lead with "authority." People say you can't get emotional about work; otherwise you'll look vulnerable. People say many things, and this all goes to show how changing the way of the world is indeed a huge challenge. Little by little, new ways to lead a business have been emerging. We rarely hear about unilateral decisions nowadays. Leadership based on authoritarianism no longer has a reason to be (did it ever have one?) and lists of DOs and DON'Ts have been thrown out of the window. In 2015, two women became Presidents & CEOs at ThoughtWorks, a multinational corporation that specializes in software development. They turned ThoughtWorks into one of the best companies for women to work at in Brazil. Together. This book tells the story of Caroline Cintra and Gabriela Guerra to reveal the real meaning of shared leadership in an innovative, fast-growing organization.
