A guidebook to trekking the Artic Circle Trail from Kangerlussuaq to Sisimiut. Covering 160km (100 miles), this long-distance hike crossing the largest ice-free patch of western Greenland takes 710 days and is suitable for experienced trekkers.
The route is described from east to west in 9 stages, each between 11 and 22km (714 miles) in length. An alternative start is presented providing an option to begin the route at 'Point 660' ice cap. Optional ascents of Sugar Loaf and Nasaasaaq are also included.
