More than a decade ago, author Brandon Tosti began sharing short stories about his daily life on his social media. His initial goal was to spread positivity, but over time he found himself with a collection of uplifting pieces spanning his midlife. Among his posts were the details of the founding and fulfillment of a New Orleans-based non-profit aimed at replenishing school sports equipment post-Katrina; his young wife's battle with breast cancer; the love and support of friends and family as he juggled the efforts of caring for her, taking the lead parenting role for two toddlers, and full-time work; and funny, touching anecdotes from years of coaching youth sports. It added up to the story of a life well-lived at its midpoint. Tosti's humble, to-the-point style is instantly relatable, and readers will see themselves in his experiences and relationships.

Brandon Tosti has spent his life cultivating his passions for the business of sports and for giving back to others. As a professional, Brandon has worked in corporate partnership activation and event management for national soccer tours and for professional sports and entertainment venues. He has worked on behalf of a city's sports commission, spent eight years in the concert industry and taught sports management and sports marketing at Johnson & Wales University and the University of Colorado Denver. Brandon's passion for helping others began as a student at the University of Kentucky. He has served as a mentor with the I Have a Dream Foundation and founded Sports For a Cause, which started as an effort to restore playgrounds and youth athletic facilities in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. His charity continues to provide support for Colorado high school athletes and PE teachers today. A proud Eagle Scout from Paintsville, Kentucky; Brandon's life has taken him to Arvada, Colorado where he lives with his wife, Beth, and his children, Kaden and Emily.
