Colin Hanson is a Civil Engineer, now retired, who spent most of his career working with the natural environment in River and Catchment Engineering. He might therefore be thought of as an 'environmental activist' but never thought that the science would be advanced by throwing custard pies at people he didn't agree with, of which there were, and are, many.He has contributed to text books and presented several Papers to his and other Institutions.
In writing this book he now knows what he wants to do when he grows up.
