Hans-Robert Metelmann (M.D., D.M.D., Ph.D.) is professor and head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Plastic Surgery at Greifswald University Medicine, Greifswald, Germany. He trained at the Cancer Therapy and Research Center at the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA. He is head of the National German Center of Plasma Medicine and co-editor of the journal Clinical Plasma Medicine. Thomas von Woedtke (D.Sc., Ph.D.) is professor of Plasma Medicine at Greifswald University Medicine and program manager for Plasma Medicine at Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (INP), Greifswald, Germany. He is co-editor of the journal Clinical Plasma Medicine and deputy head of the National German Center of Plasma Medicine.
