Klappentext zu „Earthquake-Induced Landslides “
This book sheds new light on improved methods for the study of the initiation and run-out of earthquake-induced landslides. It includes an initiation study method that considers tension-shear failure mechanism; an improved, rigorous, dynamic sliding-block method based on dynamic critical acceleration; and a run-out analysis of earthquake-induced landslides that takes account of the trampoline effect, all of which add to the accuracy and accessibility of landslide study. The book includes abundant illustrations, figures and tables, making it a valuable resource for those looking for practical landslide research tools.Inhaltsverzeichnis zu „Earthquake-Induced Landslides “
Introduction.- Review of studies of earthquake-induced landsides.- Seismic slope stability analysis by considering tension crack.- Run-out analysis of earthquake-induced landslides.- Extension of discontinuous deformation analysis and application in cohesive-frictional slope analysis.- A case study of earthquake-induced landslide.- Conclusions and future studies.Autoren-Porträt von Yingbin Zhang
Yingbin Zhang obtained his doctor of engineering degree from Kyushu University, Japan in 2013. Dr. Zhang is now an Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. He has authored more than 80 research publications in recent years. His research interest lies in slope stability analysis, landslide run-out analysis, earthquake-induced geo-hazard, numerical methods and limit analysis. He is now the investigator of several national research projects.
