Autoren-Porträt
Iqbal Ahamd is a senior lecturer of Agricultural Microbiology at Aligarh Muslim University (India) and Principal Investigator of the Indian Medicinal Plants Research Project. His work is focused on discovering novel phytocompounds for the management of microbial pathogens.Farrukh Aqil is a staff scientist at the Agricultural Microbiology department of Aligarh Muslim University (India) with a background in Microbiology and Natural Products Research. His current interest is in cytotoxicity testing of bioactive plants extracts.
Mohammed Owais is a member of the faculty of the Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit at Aligarh Muslim University (India). During his post-doctoral training with R. C. Gallo at the NIH in Baltimore (USA) he began to develop novel antiviral drugs, an effort which he is now pursuing with regard to antiviral phytocompounds.
