earned his doctorate at the RWTH Aachen University in theoretical physics. He is Managing Director of the consulting institute IFST-Institute for Social Technologies GmbH for project management, transformation and innovation management. He is head of the special interest group for Agile Management of GPM eV German Association for Project Management. His field of work is the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations through innovative social technologies. He has many years of experience in the management of innovative and complex projects as well as in the transformation of project-oriented organizations into high-performance organizations.
Dr. Jens Köhler
BASF SE, 67056 Ludwigshafen
received his Diploma in physics from Bonn University and already dealt with subject of complexity in his doctorate. For more than 10 years his main activity is the process analysis and the design and implementation of complex information solutions in R&D. His special interest is the study of the increase of efficiency and effectiveness in project teams by focusing on soft skills and communication processes.
Roland Schmitt
69469 Weinheim (an der Bergstraße)
was first dealing with business- and software development processes after having finished studying electrical engineering. For more than 10 years his field of work has been the management of ICT projects in the logistic and transport sector at DB Systel GmbH in Frankfurt am Main. The scientific studies of the management of projects in Portsmouth/UK have focused his attention on the psycho-social aspects of leadership. As a member of the special interest group of the German Association for Project Management (GPM) Agile Management he works on the subjects complexity and self-organization.
