This book seeks to shed light on the role of environment-friendly transport accessibility in determining property prices in Chinese cities. Many environment-friendly transport modes, including walking, metro, bus rapid transit (BRT), and bus are examined. Spatial econometric models, quantile regression models, and machine learning techniques are used. This book contributes to people's understanding of the relationship between environmental-friendly transport accessibility and property prices. Autoren-Porträt von Linchuan Yang
Linchuan Yang is a professor in the Department of Urban and Rural Planning, Southwest Jiaotong University. He obtained a Ph.D. in real estate economics studies, an M.Phil. in transportation studies from the University of Hong Kong, a B.E. degree in urban planning, and a BS degree in mathematics from Xiamen University, China. His research interests include urban economics, urban transportation, and urban planning. He has published a great many papers in journals such as Transportation Research Part A/D, Sustainable Cities and Society, Journal of Transport Geography, and Cities.
