Guillermo A. Francia, III received his BS in Mechanical Engineering degree from Mapua Tech. His Ph.D. in Computer Science is from New Mexico Tech. Before joining Jacksonville State University (JSU), he was the chairman of the Computer Science department at Kansas Wesleyan University. Dr. Francia is a recipient of numerous grants. His projects have been funded by prestigious institutions such as the National Science Foundation, Eisenhower Foundation, Office of Naval Research, National Security Agency, Department of Energy, Department of Education, Department of
Luis Hernández Encinas received his graduate degree and Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Salamanca, Spain. He is currently the director of the Institute of Physical and Information Technologies and Scientific Researcher (ITEFI), which is part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). He has been a leader and principal investigator of research projects in Spain, in addition to projects from the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), and other international institutions. He is the author of eleven books, nine patents, more than 200 published papers, and over 120 contributions to workshops and conferences. He is a frequent speaker in workshops and seminars on cybersecurity, and a member of several committees in Cryptography and Cybersecurity. His current research interests include Pre- and Post-Quantum Cryptography and Cryptanalysis, Pseudorandom Number Generators, Digital Signature Schemes, Authentication and Identification Protocols, Crypto-Biometry, Side Channel Attacks, and Number Theory.
