    This compact book deals with stress management and mental health. It centres on the topic of "mindfulness" - in thinking, feeling and acting. Numerous methods and techniques for expanding awareness help to reorganise everyday life in order to live a relaxed, mindful life. What is special is the combination of Far Eastern wisdom and Western philosophy. Anyone interested in Buddhism and psychology is in the right place here. Each of the 18 chapters concludes with an exercise and a suggestion on how to effectively apply what you have learnt to your everyday life. A really successful guide with practical application. The book is written in a generally understandable way and the exercises are easy to implement. I recommend the book to anyone who wants to achieve a valuable and stress-free life. It also makes a wonderful gift!

    Simple methods to combat stress!

    In 18 chapters, the author gives concrete recommendations for a stress-free life. The methods are very simple in a positive sense. Without the ballast of many explanations, there are valuable impulses for your own everyday life. You can immediately put the exercises at the end of each chapter into practice and find something that makes sense for you personally. It's not an annoying...if you do it this way it will seem like this...but an invitation to simply try out what suits you. I found that very appealing and useful. I will definitely be working with the suggestions in the book for a while, so I am happy to recommend it to others.
