She also serves on the editorial board of library and information science related journals, including: (1) Journal of library and information science; (2) Journal of library and information studies.

Dr. Chu is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). He has obtained 2 PhDs in Education - one focusing on e-Learning from University College London, Institute of Education and another one focusing on Information and Library Science from HKU. His areas of expertise include AI literacy, gamified learning, 21st Century Skills, and Social Media in Education. He has involved in over 70 research projects with a total funding of US$ 10,214,144. He has published more than 400 articles and books, with over 120 of them appearing in international academic journals. Dr. Chu has received many awards including the Faculty Outstanding Researcher Award in 2013, Faculty's Knowledge Exchange Award in 2016 and Excellent Health Promotion Project Award from Food and Health Bureau in 2017. He's ranked among the top 1% of scholars in research Information & Library Sciences (PLoS Biol 18(10), 2020, a study by Stanford University), and achieved an h-index of 42 over the years. He has been a Consultant for UNESCO Bangkok, Education Bureau in HK, Oxford University Press, Pearson Education Asia, and was the ASIS&T Director of Chapter Assembly (2020-2021). He is also an Advisor for EdTech startups at HK Science and Technology Parks and the Founding Chairman of Academy 22 Education for All Foundation.

Emi Ishita is a Professor at Kyushu University (Japan), with appointments in the Department of Library Science and Data Driven Innovation Initiative. She currently serves as the iSchool representative for Kyushu University. Dr. Ishita earned her Ph.D in Information Science from Kyushu University and her Master of Information Science from the University of Library and Information Science (Japan). Her research interests include application of text analysis to genre classification, computational archival science and computational social science, and Library and Information Science education. In computational social science research, her project team is working on reducing human annotation effort for content analysis. She has recently started some new work on research data curation in universities.

Kulthida TUAMSUK, D.A. in library and information science, Simmons College, USA., a professor and a senior researcher at the Department of Information Science, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and a Director of Smart Learning Innovation Research Centre, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Dr. Tuamsuk is well-known as an active committee and a member of national and international organizations and consortiums in Thailand and Asia Pacific. Besides her works in the field of library and information science, she has been involved with higher education development in Thailand and Southeast. She has more than 70 research publications in the international indexed journals in the areas of digital humanities, information and digital literacy, knowledge management, knowledge organization, and smart and lifelong learning.

Shamila Mohamed Shuhidan is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Science, College of Computing, Informatics and Media, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia with 23 years of teaching experience and was the Deputy Dean of Academic and Internationalization. She received B.Sc.in Accounting - Hull University, United Kingdom, in 1998, M.Sc. in Information Management - Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia and Ph.D in Business Information Systems (Information Storage & Retrieval), RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. Apart from herteaching duty, she also actively acts as an expert advisor and researcher especially in school libraries management, information literacy and knowledge management. She is involved with the International Association of School Library (IASL) activities and has been a Chair of the 3rd Regional Workshop on School Library in 2017. In the year of 2018 contributed as a head of editor in translating the School Library Guidelines in Malay Language for The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). She collaborates with schools in Malaysia for the development of the Information Literacy Module, School Resource Centre Management workshop, involved with the International Research Grant of Indigenous Knowledge and has been appointed as Steering Committee by National Library, Malaysia in developing the National Agenda of Information Literacy.
