Silvia Cristina Marginean is an Associate Professor at the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, Romania, Faculty of Economic Sciences. She obtained her PhD in Economics in 2003. Her research interests include various issues in global economics and European integration, labour markets and competitiveness. She has published over 20 articles in peer-reviewed international and national journals (e.g. Quality and Quantity, Economic Research, Journal of Business, Economics and Management, Studies in Business and Economics, Revista Economica ), as well as 5 books, and a number of conference papers and research projects. As a book editor she has collaborated with international publishers like Springer (Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics, one volume in 2017) and Elsevier (Procedia Economics and Finance, three volumes - 2013, 2014, 2015). She has reviewed papers for journals such as Economic Research, Economics and Sociology, Journal of International Studies, Studia Oeconomica, and also for conferences like IECS (International Economic Conference Sibiu), Balkan Region Conference on Engineering and Business Education, and The 7th International Conference "European Union Future Perspectives: Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Policy", Croatia.
