Humberto Belich Junior is a Theoretical Physicist at the Department of Physics at the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES) and Research Leader of the Postgraduation Research Program in Mechanical Engineering at UFES. He has authored more than one hundred scientific papers in Physical Reviews and Letters' most prestigious journals. He works on techniques for solving nonlinear differential equations in different contexts, fluid mechanics and multiphase models. He holds a B.Sc. (Phy) from the Universidade de Sao Paulo (1992) and an M.Sc. (Phy)(1997) and D.Sc. (Phy)(2003) for the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics-CBPF.
Marcio F Martins is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Collaborator's Chair in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, Brazil. He has been leading research into reactive multiphase processes in thermal systems for environmentally beneficial applications since 2009. He also works with the development of pyrolysis and combustion technologies for sludge treatment, pollutant destruction, sanitation, materials recycling, and energy recovery.
