After leaving Intel, Matt pursued the development of technology-related inventions and holds 19 domestic and international patents in related areas. Matt's focus with cloud solutions started in 2009, looking at ways for businesses to improve productivity and manage and secure digital business assets. Matt holds a BSEE degree from the University of Michigan and an Executive MBA from the University of Oregon.

Matthew Katzer is the president of KAMIND IT, a Tier 1 Microsoft Gold Partner, and author of the best-selling cloud book Office 365: Managing and Migrating Your Business in the Cloud (Apress) and Moving to Office 365 (Apress). He is an active member of a number of community organizations and local business communities. Matt's focus on cloud solutions started in 2008, as he was looking at ways that businesses could grow quickly and with reduced operating costs. His interest in security was developed while working in Intel's security division. Matt holds a BSEE from the University of Michigan and an Executive MBA from the University of Oregon.
